UNWater World Water Day 2011UN-Water, an agency formed by the United Nations High Level Committee on Programmes in 2003, is holding this year’s 2011 World Water Day launch in Cape Town, South Africa.

The International World Water Day is held annually on March 22nd as a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources.
